Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity

Madrid welcomed community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to highlight diversity and coexistence. The event, hosted by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, placed emphasis on education, prevention and dialogue as tools against prejudice. The dialogue included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers offered personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how mutual knowledge can reduce prejudice.

In the discussion, participants addressed themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology EU Values to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
